The facility in the Oil Field Centre occupies an area of about 28,000 sq m with an additional 7,000 sq m reserved for future expansion. The workshop, test stand, service area and offices occupy about 12,800 sq m of which 1,600 sq m are for the test stand and 5,400 sq m for the shop. The facility houses the largest pump test stand in the Middle East with a capacity of about a million gallons. It is equipped with Variable Frequency Drive and the proper instrumentation to test pumps up to 8,000 HP. The Test Stand can be used to test not only the Flowserve Pumps in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia but also those of any in-Kingdom manufacturers and other GCC countries. Provisions have been made to test even larger pumps in the future.The shop is equipped with the necessary machine tools to repair, service, upgrade, manufacture and package all of the Flowserve Pump Division product lines. The facility can manufacture turned parts and carries parts to provide Quick Response Centre services to customers in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
